Making a Bandsaw Box

Prerequisites: Intro to Woodworking

The bandsaw is one of the most versatile of the tools in the workshop. In this course you will learn to safely use the bandsaw, and to adjust it for proper performance in a variety of tasks and learn to change the blade.

We will go over the steps of how to construct a simple bandsaw box, and you will make one to take home! Blocks of wood for you to use will be supplied by Makerspace. (If you bring your own wood, please check with the instructor for details of what is acceptable.) You should have already taken the Intro to Woodworking class.

There is a $25 fee for this class, payable upon enrollment. If you need to cancel your registration after paying, please contact education@rocmakers.org to arrange a refund. We cannot provide refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of class.
